Erlend Oye, metà dei Kings of Convenience e autore di un bell’esordio solista, ha annunciato sul suo forum i progetti a cui sta lavorando.
Eirik from KoC was just here for a week. we worked on songs as we usually do, and got a little further. we jammed with a cello player and a violin player too. We need more stringplayers and trumpet/trombone players.
At the moment i work on three things:
The new Kings of Convenience album. So many unreleased old songs, so many new. So many unfinished ideas. Where to record it. how. with whom. When. nobody knows.but it will be Great.
The Whitest Boy Alive. A new Band. Featuring one german, and one polish berliner. In the same musical vein as my solo-album, but more dancefloor.Very fun.
Dj-kicks. i have been asked by K7 to do an installment in this legendary DJ-mix series. it will feature me singing on top of instrumental tracks, but also keeping my mouth shut occasionally.
Ma il nuovo cd del duo norvegese non doveva uscire questo autunno?? E io che mi ascolterò quando le giornate cominceranno ad accorciarsi e fuori non si vedrà niente a causa della nebbia?

Unrest E’ un capolavoro, secondo me insieme all’ultimo dei Kraftwerk è stato uno dei migliori album del 2003! :)
Questo nuovo Dj Kicks mi è piaciuto tantissimo, sopratutto per la bellissima voce di Erlend, anche se il Cd sicuramente non è originalissimo…ma è sempre un bel lavoro!

almeno un paio di canzoni di unrest erano da applauso.
comunque, grazie per la segnalazione inkiostro, tutti e tre i progetti sono da bavetta alla bocca.
a me Unrest era parso bruttarello parecchio… forse l’unica cosa carina dell’operazione era il video fatto da Jarvis Cocker… devo riascoltarlo con maggiore attenzione?
